Milgis Trust is a nonprofit committed to the preservation of land between the Matthew and Ndoto Mountains in the Northern Frontier of Kenya. Beginning under a tree in 2006, students from far and wide trekked to learn letters and numbers using white rocks in the sandy soil.

Wana Duma Children’s Project has partnered with the Milgis Trust to build a classroom for local students the first of which was completed in 2008 with a second finished in 2010. There is now a total of 6 classrooms with plans for an additional 3 to complete the complex.
