Korogocho slums – Nairobi, Kenya
We have a family of six that were living in the Korogocho slums – the largest garbage dump in Nairobi. A Mother with AIDS and five children, two of which also have AIDS. We were very fortunate to move this family further away from Korogocho and help find adequate housing. All six are currently healthy and the children are attending school. We would like to continue to track this family and provide assistance for as long as needed. Donations will be needed to supply the family with food, school supplies, tuition and clothing.
